Status Updates From Förinta

I feel as though I’ve been cat fished. This is less a book about a series of cyber attacks in a tumultuous political environment and more the exploration of a middle aged man who is near incapable of emotional intelligence, interrupted by a few pages regarding cyber attacks.

Also far too many bizarre dream sequences.

I’m approaching the halfway point of Houellebecq’s most current novel, it’s a nice way to enjoy the holiday season. “The human world seemed to him to be made up of little balls of egoistic shit, unconnected and unrelated to one another, and sometimes those balls grew agitated and copulated in their own way, each in its own register, leading to the existence in turn to the existence of tiny new balls of shit.”
