The narrator did a great job given the material given. The dialogue was so stiff and not at all how a real conversation would be spoken. Misha was written like a child. Definitely should have DNF

What is with these books and the lack of character descriptions? Is this a common thing in modern books (I haven’t read much modern stuff outside of MM )? The trend seems to be: give the most basic details somewhere in the beginning, and make them super easy to forget. Usually it’s not a big deal, except with twinkish child-like MCs. The image my brain conjures up for them is never sexy in the slightest. 😂
