I couldn't agree more with Mr Darcy. Not to tell how weird is to let 2 young ladies with a sick women.

There's no real reason to wed, nobody knows them in these villages, they could give a false name and that's that.

I have suddenly remembered why I cannot stand this authors… farcical tropes, lack of logic, suspension of any common sense for the sake of pushing a forced plotline

Ugh. ODC have now fallen in love with each other without much effort and with hardly any on-page interaction with each other when others were not present. And absolutely no attempt to change or grow as people (I’m looking at you, Mr. Darcy of Pemberley who feels entitled to a pretty wife).

I have decided that I really hate JAFF stories where Darcy just assumes Lizzy is uneducated and uncouth and spends all his time waiting for her to pour tea the wrong way or to say the wrong thing. IT IRKS ME.

Come on, Darcy, don’t be so freakin’ shallow. The woman was seriously injured saving your miserable hide and you’re worried she might be ugly because as the Master of Pemberley, you’re supposed to marry someone lovely. Ugh!

I think I will stop reading the story for awhile. There is almost no character I want to spend time with except Lizzy. Darcy is a prideful, arrogant young man who seems unable to keep an ordered life. Between Wickham and aunt Catherine and his seemingly inability to hire good help and his penchant of insulting people, I may have to finish the book reading backwards one chapter at a time.
