Starting the novella. Book 2 has a SA survivor but doesn't detail or even allude to emotions around the assaults themselves, which is a nice change from authors I have read in the past that relive the event at least once in some capacity.

Book 1: There are so many X words!!!! Lol I can't make the clicks to save my life but goodness even mentally reading the words I was stumbling a bit at the beginning. It's great world building and if I wasn't reading the bundled collection I'd probably be feral waiting between books.
Book 2: Despite the FMC suffering so much from the previous hunts, it hasn't been talked about in her story yet.

And all of a sudden things happen. Like how and why does he just wait for her in a candlelit room and then start "punishing her?" I mean I know why but that just felt like a big jump
