This is taking me awhile to get through. It is brutal in its descriptions. Each book has nothing to do with the others. I question the author’s definition of an EMP. Certain “details” don’t seem to “fit”-if these chronicle events after an EMP strike, why aren’t there planes falling out of the sky? It is a compelling read-willing suspension of disbelief, and all that-which explains why I’m on Book 3.
