One thing i absolutely can not abide in a book is the “I’ll look at, do, think, or figure IT out LATER” to add suspense. It’s stupid and too simplified. We’ve got these angels running around chasing a demon for weeks and weeks. No fn clue how their actual purpose is doing. Never checking. Never thinking for themselves. It’s BS and infuriating 😡

The first 40% was ok. Lot of focus on the side characters, Feather and her new glow up, bla bla bla. The other 40%??? Like a LOT of things happened. And wtf with Rafe
