Status Updates From Dangerous Desires

I'm calling it with this one. I only have the patience for one unenjoyable book this month. I have no energy or interest in finishing this. The writing isn't the best. The plot and story is ridiculous & barely believable. The women in this book are all insecure and have no self worth/respect, and the main male character is immature, unlikable, lacks respect, is full of bravado and wholly unattractive. On to the next!

This story has potential but I honestly don’t want to spend all this time reading about side characters.

Why do these “hood” novels always have to follow other characters besides the lead male and female?!? I hate that ish man. I’m sitting here reading a chapter on Frankie when I don’t know who she is and honestly don’t give a flip.

Please don’t let Malique be an annoying heroine. Leave this married man alone and get damn hearing aids.

*long deep sigh* so we have a main character who’s trifling. Lord… this book might tire me out.
