As with all memoirs, the recounting rests in perfect imperfection - something the author acknowledges within the novels’ pages and in the Author’s Note. If you’ve never experienced heartbreak of this magnitude, then this novel isn’t for you, nor should you even be leaving a rating. 5 stars for what is, by far, the most accurate retelling of the physiological effects of a broken heart.
