Status Updates From Tail 'Em (Jailbreak)

Did not finish. Interested in the story line but all the talk of knots and slick isn’t for me. And there is a lot. I probably skimmed / skipped a solid 15% before just stopping.

Big fan of the author, will definitely continue reading their works, just not this series.

I tried to get into this, truly.
The premise sounded so promising but the plot isn’t really captivating me.
In fact, I’m mostly bored.

Not even halfway, and I'm already struggling, angry, annoyed, frustrated at the hypocrisy and lies people choose to believe and repeat..
It's a good story, well developed, but with weak characters you struggle to like or respect, making it hard to focus on the good parts.
I keep pausing to have internal arguments with the characters, but upon returning, finding it gets no better..

i was about to dnf but the reviews say to keep going however i’m not a fan so far. the idea of the book is interesting but not afan of multiple characters especially jai. every scene with him i just want to completely skip over
