This is probably one of the most controversial book on the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War mainly because of the author and how the book presents him in such stellar light in comparison to other actors in the war. There is no doubt that he had a front row seat during the war and was the General who brought the war to an end. In the end, everyone loses in a war.
