I’ve been missing Quaid and Aslan lately, so a re-read was definitely in order. The first time around, I read them on my Kindle. This time, I grabbed the whole series during an Audible sale, which means I get to listen to one of my favourite narrators, Nick J. Russo. Imagine my surprise when I updated Goodreads and realized I’m starting this re-read exactly one year later to the day. It was fate!

I am so bored... I don't even know why I keep reading. Quaid is genuinely one of the most non engaging characters I came across in a long time. Not sure what to make of him. Not sure where the author thought she was going with him. Aslan, too, is like a ... placeholder love interest. He ticks all the "love interest" boxes without ever feeling like a real person.

Ich werde das irgendwann fertig kriegen.... Vielleicht sogar noch dieses Jahr...
