I really adore the way the author doesn't just list off bird species but actually knows them! Plus I spoilered myself. I wasn't surprised, honestly. I knew this as soon as the topic "Anne and her not knowing who her father is" came up - like, wasn't that obvious??

You feel the author is a born "Ossi". Don't try to convince me otherwise.
