One of my big complaints about the previous book Nexie was a throwaway sentence in the story Nexie where she refers to the "boy in the glass dome." I reread that part several times to see if I was missing something, but I hadn't. I thought this was an error. It was cool to see the boy in the glass dome be explained in this one.
