I really don’t understand the focus that this book gives to Emerson and his family. It seems so unnecessary. At this point, if he isn’t the big bad, I’m going to be upset, because what is the point of focusing on him so much.

I’m still feeling like Marius is shady but being cool with your lackies basically raping your brother’s mate is crazy. So I hope he isn’t behind this.

And now we find out that Marius is being critical of Liam? Suspicious

Not Liam outright saying that betrayal from a sibling would hurt him after my suspicion of Marius.

Okay now I’m starting to feel weird about Marius. Is it going to turn out that he is a part of whatever is going on?

I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s stupid that she hasn’t met his family yet.

What does “she plays her role perfectly” even mean Anders???

Maybe the problem is that I just don’t like this author’s writing style.

Literally these chapters have the most abrupt endings.

It’s about time that she told him, she’s not the worst but she’s up there.

Why do I feel like this entire chapter with Liam going to see Emerson’s new baby was complete unnecessary filler.

Well I see where she is coming from, who else that we have been formally introduced to besides Lauren would call her an ugly omega?

Omg seriously? Why would she not immediately talk to Liam about this if she is scared? It’s so immature.

You see, I knew I was going to be annoyed. Because why would you not tell your mate about an obvious threat. People who don’t want a bodyguard in stories are literally so annoying.

“At that moment, I truly meant it” sounds shady as hell. Seems like she is going to start lying to her mate.

So this book was really hard to get into, then once I get into it, I notice that the chapters end really awkwardly.
