So he killed her friend but she already forgot it, voluntary got into a cage he had set up in his room, and is now flirting/ exchanging cheeky banter with him? What is this and why is she so voluntary helpless in every single thing that happens?

What the heck are you doing girl? He saved your silly ass, and you are trying to kill him just because he is a vampire?

So if I'm guessing right, he's either a vampire of a fae, and the book says they can manipulate people's will. That doesn't sound like anything good for healthy consent for the scene they're now in (she's invited him to her room).

Ok, so the main character’s going to be one of those “very special ones”, I guess. I’m not the biggest fan of authors choosing such easy paths to forming their characters.
