That scene of him running his vampire (think ***very fast***) run and carrying her is straight out of Twilight, lol

So he killed her friend but she already forgot it, voluntary got into a cage he had set up in his room, and is now flirting/ exchanging cheeky banter with him? What is this and why is she so voluntary helpless in every single thing that happens?

What the heck are you doing girl? He saved your silly ass, and you are trying to kill him just because he is a vampire?

I just can’t believe how slow (and by that I mean stupid 🤫🙈😂) she is.

Ok nvm now she’s having her Show White moment, she’ll be fine lol. Things are happening way too fast in this book, but it’s exactly what I need for my reading slump.

So if I'm guessing right, he's either a vampire of a fae, and the book says they can manipulate people's will. That doesn't sound like anything good for healthy consent for the scene they're now in (she's invited him to her room).
