and now i'm tearing up

"My breath catches, both at the beauty of the piece and its darkness. It’s a younger Hopper curled in a ball in a closet. Only a small sliver of light comes in from under the door, and his fingers trace it as if searching for the one bright spot.
Omar pulls Hopper into a hug. “This is beautiful work. And it deserves to burn. May the weight of this history go up in flames as well.”"

liam whisks hopper away to go fucking snorkeling bc he mentioned his favorite animal is a blue whale?!

and it's absolutely magical for him, btw.
😭😭😭

i love hopper, i love liam - they're both exactly what i wanted in only 11 pages.
pleaseee let this book hold up.

🥹 i'm just so fond of hopper.

Pretty good book, enjoyed it while reading. Just got tired of the series and decided to move on to something new in the middle of reading this. Will prob pick back up listening to the audiobook at some point.
