the hatred armenian men had for armo women should be studied. genuinely don't understand why they seeked for foreign women and preferred to get married to them. at first, the prejudice about marriage between an armo man and a foreignner felt silly but after reading the way men at that time talked about armenian women made me sick lol they deserved more than slander and ignorance from their kins

the book automatically gets better every time shushan is mentioned. graceful, smart, kind lady i aspire to be like her. and i do not like michael CANNOT STAND HIM.

this book got me into reading 🥲 it's been 3 years, let's see if my opinion has changed.

p.s. i also finished "Խոնարհ աղջիկ" yesterday. too bad goodreads doesn't have the book
