I think I made a mistake of reading 2 vampire books back to back because I’m struggling pushing through this book 🥲

I'm bored. I've read this book in so many different forms already. I don't mind when this happens, but it needs to have something to stand out like extra good writing or something and they're always just super mid.

Why don't these women ever wonder if the hit men they randomly get involved with are after them?! I'm not a paranoid person, but I'd still at least consider it. The last book I read was even worse since she was actively on the run.
