Status Updates From Hollywood Dreams

I feel like this is a British or Australian author writing about Americans. Several words and phrases are more British English than American English. Mum instead of mom, a trolley instead of a cart at the grocery store, a note instead of a dollar, etc. And just the general sentence structure...

Okay, so I'm intrigued and I wanna know what happens with them. The story is an interesting concept. But the writing is kinda driving me batshit... Too much TELLING going on.

Other than the fact that this author uses words and phrases we don't use in America, this book is really good.

Oh, he is good!

I'm rooting for him! He needs to come clean but I hope he gets her and doesn't hurt her.

She really only cared about what was in someone's heart.

I'm intrigued. But this author is not American.

A beautiful moment.. That was heartbreaking.
