Did it improve by the end? Somewhat. I still feel like there's some serious pacing issue, the romance is secondary to descriptions/inner-monologues and spice is more important than for the couple to grow closer. Why have a plot when it's completely ignored? Why have romance when it's literally summarised in one paragraph? And the side-plot? It happened, then they prepared to sort it out and then it got ignored.

Instead of focusing on showing us how the characters grow closer by actions and scenes that showcase their growing bond, we literally get a paragraph explaining it. How is that a good idea? How am I supposed to like the characters and their romance when the important details are squeezed into a quick summary reducing both the characters and the romance into something that feels trivial.

Are you kidding me? My dude touched her br3ast and she clim@xed? Why do authors think this is attractive? If I had to choose between such unrealistic spicy scenes and ones where the FMC reaches her clim@x because the MMC puts effort into her pleasure, I'm sure as hell I will choose the second option.

Okay, even though Danny is present and well and all, it's still meh at best. We are at about 30% of the book and I don't like the characters, because we know nothing about them, I don't like the writing style, because it's basically a bunch of inner-monologues and descriptions and the characters exchanged what... 10 sentences with each other? There's literally nothing I could like.

I really don't like how it starts. Again the first 1-2 chapters is a heavy description of all the things we already know from the previous books. At this point they could be addressed in 2 paragraphs, done. Besides, in Drakkar's book, Drakkar made sure to provide for both Kitty and her child. In this book they just pass Becky's brother off to someone? Disappointing.
