I recently learned that literary talent is an intelligence of its own. This book is a great example of glimpsing directly into the mind of someone who does. How lovely is it to be able to think how a writer does, to be able to put words of the experience of reading and visualising that could only be felt before. How wonderful it is to realise that it is all a conscious effort by the author to invoke certain feelings
