This is one of those books I really believe gets overlooked. It has been such a fun read! All the friendly banter and sweet friendships...the gentle faith... honestly...I just love this book.

This has been a fun read. I enjoyed the first half where we got to know the characters and saw how each one felt about their own jobs and ministries. It was encouraging to see the prayer of a good friend modeled in the book. I don't know how I feel about the age difference between the love interests....but the story as a whole is fun and warm and a welcome rest when overwhelmed a bit by the daily chaos.

Today's fun: “We usually come up with something new—unique. Something that hasn’t been done before.”
After a moment of staring at him, at her paper, at the calendar on the wall, and back at him she said, “Are you saying that I not only have to pull together and pull off a play in six weeks, but I also have to write the thing?”

Did not see that coming. I expected smooth sailing for them. But Natalie's got a bee irritating something!
