Status Updates From Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia...

Last year I didn’t enjoy this quite so much because I didn’t know what I was getting into & listened way too fast. This year I am listening and lovingggggg. Perfect cozy transition to fall.

Finally picking this one back up. I like that the main character is a post-doc researcher and it kind of goes into what it takes to become a professor, the politics of the scientific community/academia, and what research it all about when you’re really into it.
All from a fantasy perspective too, inventing a whole new area of study, which is really creative! Second lead detracts from all that though unfortunately
