When o say this is pride and prejudice retelling , I don’t mean it’s based on it. It’s more the same story with different names and location. I’m not sure how I feel about this. Books based on or interpreting or same archtypes and changing for different times ok, but this is literally the exact sorry lines and it feels kinda while cute , a bit too ‘borrowing’ that it’s copying almost?

Is very P&P. Like almost exact story line. It’s cute but I think this whole series is a play of Austen books.
