I’m having a shocking amount of fun— which scares me. It feels like I’m constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I can guess at the emotional climax, but so far it is genuinely such a romp! Cosy-ish with a lot of interesting internal and interpersonal conflict where all the characters are concerned.
I mean… they’re at a Renaissance Fair! It’s silly and beautifully amusing.

The reviews, admittedly, had me a little worried.
It’s definitely going to be depressing, but it perfectly follows up on the ending of Book 1– which was a huge downer and I stand by that.
Agatha is quickly becoming a favourite and I already respected her in the first instalment.
I’m excited to see where this goes!
