The heroine will trust anyone as long as they have malintent towards her but refuses to trust the one trustworthy(ish) guy (the hero) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Her inability to buy a clue is a little tiresome. I'm hoping they get back to the romance soon.

I found this book at a used bookstore and the first book in the series wasn't there. I'm hoping that starting with book 2 won't be an issue. So far, I am hooked.

ive read two of BJ's books i feel sorry for her heroines. All they do is be self destructive. No sense of self presesrvation . Theres quite a derogatory homophobic vibe going on too . Just because a man lusts after the hero does not make him less of a man or king

Getting impatient. The default settings of these girls was to start spying on their husbands for their father/brother. Or what???

I hope Stephen's parents make an appearance in this book!
