Status Updates From Devil’s Breath

During another visit to Simone's apartment, she shows up and states that she wasn't kidnapped. MC doesn't buy it and tries to lead Simone into telling her what's going by revealing that she knows Simone is afraid of Andreas (violent husband) and that they're looking for the English professor. Andreas shows up and chokes out MC. Eustacia is accused of murdering an old colleague.

Simone is missing, Rose broke into her apartment and stole a bra and a phone. Rooftop garden has been destroyed with one (or more) plant(s) being stolen. Cops are more or less trying to investigate and Rose is trying to avoid talking to the detective because of past reasons

Main character stalking her neighbor and watching/documenting all 4 dudes that go in and out of neighbor's apartment. MC would never call it that though
