Taichi and Niku are competing for promotion unexpectedly behind each other's back. Chihaya is as usual determined to improve exasperated by her match with Queen. Sensei notices and tells her to reel it in. Kana and Tsukue are practicing to formally promote. Tsukue notably has the most imposter syndrome.

Taichi's match ended (L). Foreshadowing to see more action from Arata and Queen. Toughened resolve for the Karuta club

Aww a bitter sweet end to their journey but we’re setting up for the future immediately so I’m happy for that.

So the Queen is sort of a perfectionist, she had a vision of Arata so maybe they’ve met, would like to see them go against each other. Also hoping Mashima wins his final, he’s back to loving that game again which is adorable.

Aww I wish we saw Desk’s first win play out in real time. Also dang this new girl is dangerous, I’m hoping Arata is in this individual tournament too.
