Status Updates From The Bloody Crown of Conan (...

Got about halfway through before I realized the story I was on was not short. Not sure if I like long-form Conan as much as the short stories.

this novel was very fun! it's interesting to see how howard approaches a full-length novel vs. his short stories. we lose very little of that fast-paced action, & yet neither does this feel rushed. loved seeing akivasha, however briefly-- i remember her mostly from the kull film. anyway, i am hoping to finish this today so i can start spooky month reading tomorrow, we'll see how much i get thru tonight

keep thinking to myself "i should update this" & then deciding, no, i should wait until i finish this story, forgetting of course that this story i am reading is a full length novel lmfao. i have about 70 pages left of 'the hour of the dragon' & this has been extremely fun so far. i wish i attracted women like conan does goddamn
