This book is a lot more creepy than the last one I read. It reminds me of It in the sense that it's a group of teenagers (kids?) working together to solve some mysterious paranormal activity and it's foreshadowed that one of them won't make it.

OOhhh I actually like this bit. "It had once been painted cream, but the main road that now ran directly outside the house meant that the exterior was black with exhaust fumes, except for where the dirty paint had flaked away like scabs, revealing the raw, flesh-pink bricks underneath."

If these kids are 15, why is there a playground at their school?

Hmm so far this book is a little lame. Thinking of finishing it tomorrow and watching a movie instead.

"And yet soon, four of the those five students would look back at recent events and struggle to make sense of it all. And the fifth one? The fifth one would be dead."
The only interesting paragraph so far. I've been holding on to this book for 3 years. I really hope it ends up being good.
