SPOILER CONT.

Corien probably convinced her to become the blood queen to help him through the mind speak that angels possess, and can also like take over minds (maybe? only logical explanation for her murder). In the prologue she gives birth to a baby I think is ELIANA because of the pendant, which Eliana later assumes to be of King Audric the Lightbringer. SOMEHOW THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AFTER YEARS

(just a theory)

I JUST RE-READ THE PROLOGUE IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

SPOILER ALERT FOR BELOW I WILL BE DISSECTING THIS

Ok so Simon is a Marque, part human part angel, and he is the son of Garver, who is helping Rielle. They both end up hating her because she ended up siding with the angels and killing many humans, including King Audric. HOWEVER, in the later chapters she is seen being manipulated by Corien- (char limit FREAK)

SPOLIER SPOILER

I KNOW WHY THEY'RE (the angels) ARE TAKING ONLY GIRLS
THEY'RE TRYING TO FIND THE BLOOD/SUN QUEEN
I'M A FREAKING GENIUS (watch me be wrong)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
EXCUSE MEEEE???

Oh dang ok

This decision is so stupid and poorly thought out I feel even more dread when I next have to read her pov.

On the other hand, RIELLE POV I WAS LEFT ON A CLIFFHANGER LAST TIME

(I feel like I can already predict a plot twist but it's honestly pretty obvious)

I like this dynamic so far! (I feel like one's going to die and the other will live and maybe forget abt them)

Sighh I miss prison healer- THIS ISN'T ABOUT THEM

Also maybe Minor spoiler but I finally found out that their elements are water fire wind earth metal light and shadow (I'm changing my darkness element to shadow 'cause it rolls off tongue better now)
