Skipped ahead and read "The Bridegroom's Body" (very good) and "Decision" (fairly good), but for some reason I can't seem to focus on "The Crazy Hunter." Keep starting over with that marvelous first chapter, but the second chapter feels like running into a wall. Thump. Help.

Boyle creates the visual through the sounds of her words blending in their rhythm, her brushstroke. Each word carries the uncovering of further meaning.

4 stars but she moves steadily, never reaching, towards a 5th. Beneath the staid, articulate style, lays a bin of explosives?

So I just read page 70 four times in a row because I could not quite fathom how incredible it was. When she lets herself go her prose is simply breathtakingly good.

Been looking forward to this. When Nathan, Prou and Kris all agree on the greatness of a text, it really is a no-brainer.
