my 2nd rant: obviously i'm not an expert on myth studies but this heteronormative ass book pissing me off because how can you not talk about: "they say that phoebus grazed admetus’s cattle, and found shelter in a humble hut. who can’t suit what suited phoebus? lose your pride", apollo domesticating himself and learning to lose his pride behind because of his love for a man??? but what do i know

my first rant: you're telling me zeus calling prometheus out because of his "man-loving ways" is purely about prometheus's parental love for his male children? heterosexual affairs somehow often mentioned but chiron the centaur sacrificing his immortality just like that in exchange for prometheus' freedom isn't an enigma? oh come onnn *boo*
