almost at the point where I get to teach witches to y8 again so thought I’d refresh

This thing drags but man I can’t wait for the next book

It’s interesting enough, just so bland in characterisation. Like yea cool, history of witch trials and told with only the facts, I understand the reasoning but like there’s nothing enjoyable about it other than learning it in this form. There’s no dialogue about how nuts this was, there’s no humanity in just saying exactly what happened without discussion about it

Already feeling extremely sceptical about this, starting a book about historical events with something along the lines of “I wrote this with as little of my own opinion as possible” makes me think then what’s the point of me reading this over reading a bunch of of wiki pages
