Open, brutally honest and frank account of a traumatic prolonged experience which so very clearly shaped most his adult life as well as childhood, is well versed and heart rending yet sporadically written. Glimpses of his most poignant periods of life are reflected upon with an erratic back and forth view which can get confusing at moments in reading to know exactly where you are at which point in his life.

Chapter 5 irrational but understandable a cathartic chapter like most the book feels thus far and outpouring of images flashbacks and a release. Very relatable if not sometimes hard to keep up with.

Have finished reading this very sad story of a young man's lost childhood. this was a story told from the heart, I could feel the torment and bewilderment in his voice. This story of a child's innocence been snatched away at the age of five was quite a harrowing read from a mothers point of view. Well done to the author you told the story beautifully.
