Status Updates From No Good Deed

Nope, not working for me. I don't like the narrator, Chan. He's cold and too matter-of-fact, telling the story extremely dryly, like cardboard. I might've liked it if it at least had an alternating perspective with Mark as another first person narrator. Or even limited third. Mark seemed like a character I would feel keening inside of his skin.

This far in and I still haven't met Mark, the other mc. I also despise Dan. He's an asshat. Arrogant, entitled, self-centered and narrow. Not a compelling or connecting beginning. I'll give it another chapter, and it better be amaze-pants.

I'm liking it but I could really do without the girly bits. They seem unnecessary :-(

I love Chan is humor man, hilarious. Lynn Lorenze has just made it to my automatic buy list! Stellar.

I love Daniel Chan is humour is the best, so sarcastic. This book is delightful all because Mr Chan is wonderfully written. The whole town is a hoot.

I am liking this one, its real cop shit. Plus its interracial, I am all for that, makes it like 50% more sexy.
