Status Updates From The Insider

I stopped reading it when the protagonist got himself in a totally unrealistic and painful situation (forced to violate his moral and ethical responsibility), such that I could no longer identify with him.

yup, definitely not what i wanted it to be, or what it could have been.. too many stories, too many poorly explained characters, too much action without description or story, and too much cussing (Evenf or me who cusses like a sailor often).

yup, it's a bad one. too many things going on this book - co-plot A, co-plot B, subplots C D and E, sideplot F - the legal world. the mafia world. the russian underground world. the middle east crime world. etc etc etc. it's like how many disparate people, places and things can one pull together, blend on high, and throw together as a story. also *extra* violent parts even for a violent story.

have had this for almost 2 years, since i got my kindle; finally reading it, and underwhelmed. seems many reviews agree with me. hmmm....

What is it about a man in a suit?
Oh, the story is pretty awesome too!
