Omg I did it. I finally finished this. Basically, think positively, eat well, exercise, be social, go outside, limit screen time, and meditate to change you brain and he explains all the science in how these experiences shape our brains.

I am determined to finish this fucking thing. Don't get me wrong, he has a lot of good information, useful- Im just over the scientific jargon. I also really wish I had access to the 2.0 version, because I'm sure some of this is outdated.

Honestly, this one is kicking my ass. I'm trying to get through all the nonfiction I have yet to finish. I'm not sure I want to finish it. He goes into the different functions of different parts of the brain, and I get so lost. Then, he writes examples of how the brain works using patient stories, and I start to understand a little bit. Some of it feels like "toxic positivity," which is maybe why I never took to CBT.
