Just read "The Camden Brownhouse". Gorillaz impress everybody on their first gig and get signed. At their signing party, 2D falls in love again but they break up because of Murdoc. Murdoc cashes their check and then they deck Kong Studios with all the equipment they need to record their debut album. Awesome!

Just read "Noodle: A Very Special Delivery". After the firing of Paula Cracker, Murdoc sent out an ad for a guitarist. Noodle arrives in a FedEx crate and wows the band with her guitar skills. With the band complete, the band puts together their first song, "Ghost Train", and Murdoc contacts a record executive to see them at their gig so they can get signed. Awesome!

Just read "Russel Hobbs: Waking the Slumbering Giant". Russel Hobbs, who became a hip hop genius after being possessed by the spirits of his friends when they got killed in a drive-by, gets kidnapped by Murdoc and recruited into the band. He expands the band's range, as well as getting their original guitarist, 2-D's girlfriend Paula Cracker, fired after finding her and Murdoc fucking in the bathroom.

Just read "August 15th 1997 'D-Day'". Murdoc crashed his car into the music store 2-D worked at so he could steal instruments. The car crashed into 2-D's eye, damaging it, putting him in a coma, and getting Murdoc sentenced to community service. 2-D woke up during another crash from Murdoc, damaging his other eye but waking him up. Murdoc took one look at him and realized he had the frontman his band needed.

Just read "12D3: In the Suburbs, They're Spooked". Now we learn about 2D's backstory. He grew up in a regular suburban home, with not much in brains but a love for zombie movies and stuff that made electronic noises. When he was eleven, he fell out of a tree and lost all his body hair, which grew back blue, then started developing serious migraines that he needed painkillers for. Interesting.

Just started reading "Chapter 2 - Unto the World a Band is Born" and read "Murdoc Niccals - 'Spawn of Stoke'". We read about Murdoc's miscreant school life and developing tastes for music. He wised up to a bully and made a deal with the devil for a successful music career, only to go through several failed bands because his singing was crap, leading him to go search for a new singer.

Just read "Chapter 1 - Nature Adores a Vacuum". The narrator gives a flattering summary of the history of Gorillaz while Murdoc pleasures himself. The book will be an oral history where the band members talk about their backgrounds, formation, and everything they did while making their albums. Here we go! And Murdoc, don't be gross!

Just started the book and read the prelude. Murdoc starts things off by recalling a memory from his childhood, where his abusive father forced him to perform in a talent show at a pub as a way to make a quick pub, humiliating the young Murdoc. Murdoc swore that day to never take to the stage under someone else's direction and believes Gorillaz were created as a middle finger to everything the talent show ever was.
