Status Updates From Manto: Selected Stories

"Khol Do" left me with no words and a terrifying gasp. Had me staring at a far away wall, thinking about the state of women– the brutality, the abuse, the assault they had to go through. We've read about it in books in a clinical manner, but Manto successfully brought to predicament to life. He used a normal every day said phrase and weaved it in such a way that will leave you in awe with wonder and sadness.
