What about Grizzie and her connected family? Her family are lording over Chicago, a place where the Alfar and Supes can't go. So what's up with that?! Who exactly is Grizzie, and why is she living in the same small town as Jane?!!!

There are some inconsistencies: for example, Anyan is supposedly very strong, yet it took Conleth to save Jane.
Also, there are too many popular references, which age real fast. So not all references make sense in 2020, even with the help of Google.

I preferred Jane in book 1, when she wasn't trying to prove what a "badass" she is all the time. She read as more authentic back then.
