Status Updates From Eternal Summer of My Homeland

i don’t usually add mid-read updates but i’ll add some just for memory’s sake.

the first and third short stories really hit hard, though it is entirely possible that it might just be because of the point of my life i’m in. grief is a heavy thing and i never quite grasp it fully. it’s comforting, in a way, to read experiences that feel eerily similar to mine. i think the stories just reminded me of home.
