The Mennyms go through some stressful times as they are noticed by more people in their neighborhood. Will they have to barricade themselves in and avoid all contact with people? Created by Kate Penshaw, a lonely old lady, her dolls came to life and resided in her #5 Brocklehurst Grove house, after Kate's death. Pilbeam was not finished, but found by her twin, Soobie, their mother finished the work Kate had begun, 40 years earlier. Miraculously, they came and went about, without challenge.

Really dramatic developments in this family's lives, definitely a teen book, glad we have to the next book in this series, worried we'll be left on a cliff hanger.

So enjoyable, great humour and story telling!

Really enjoyable, this series keeps getting better.

Haven't had as much time for reading aloud as usual this last week but it's great to be back with these characters.

The third copy has started to use US words (book 1 and 2 were US copies but used no US terms. Wonderful to be back with this family!
