You should see 'Nashville.'

In the middle of the 'Nashville' essay. Saw there was going to be some Wenders On 'Nashville' when I was flipping through trying to find my page and it was the proper impetus for checking it out from the library again. Uncanny timing. It feels like a movie about right fucking now. Watched it tonight/this morning with Ryan Murray. We are both major fans.

I can't help but grin at this guy's enthusiasm.

Another book by an artistic powerhouse where I'm thrown a new piece of interesting sounding pop culture to try to find every three pages.

This dude's a character. I quite like his take on film criticism being at it's best when it's a clear reflection of how a film moved you, and not a matter of judging a film as worthy of other people's attention.
