I loved it! I think it could have been a much longer book that went into local politics. It could have deepened the connection to each character and their families with more details. The core story was good, though. It was atmospheric and such a joy to find a sapphic gothic romantasy book that depicts POC! There are not enough!

wish the reveal of the traitor would have been significant in any way, there’s not enough depth of side characters to be meaningful
