Status Updates From Bend Sinister

I’m so devastated.

I just know something bad is going to happen…at least the scene with Mariette ended quick

The Mariette scene and the idea of Adam Krug being seduced by her aggravated me so much 😔 It was uncomfortable to read, I really hated the whole scene but thankfully she doesn’t get her way and he stops before anything can happen at all. I hated every moment of that scene, it’s my least favourite scene so far but I do still think the book is great!! (Might skip that part on rereads lol)

It just gets better and better to be honest

I adore this book so much, I’m thinking about using it for a level coursework somehow!
