Status Updates From The Summer We Got Saved

So I’m the kind of reader that needs to be pulled in by the writer. How a story develops is why I continue to read. It’s only page 4 and I feel myself re-reading the same paragraphs. I completely understand that this story’s setting is in a time where they spoke “very country”. Shorting words or accents. I hoping it reads a little easier as the book continues.
