Status Updates From Alphabet of Thorn

Having reached about the half-way point, I can say that it's sprawling and romantic in the same was Peter S. Beagle and Diana Wynn Jones are but I have heard nothing of this author until now. I'm astounded. Where are the anniversary editions of these books? Where are the analytical essays. Where's the forward written by some over hyped author of the week? This is insanely good.

Moving slower only on account that certain passages need to be read at least two times for me to fully sit with them and just--bask. This really is the type of work that I love to read. Where are my fifteen-million sprayed edges and alternate covers for McKillip's books. We are nearing two for two five star reads at this rate.

I don't want to speak too soon, but new S-tier author may have been unlocked.
