Status Updates From Spawn Origins, Volume 8

Notes:
(1) The double-size 50th issue is the clear standout here.
- Not that it's anything spectacular, it's just one of the few times reading this series didn't feel like a complete chore.
(2) The main takeaway from this installment is information about Spawn's costume: how it feeds off evil animals, particularly worms.
- Otherwise, it's a lot of filler and putzing around.

Notes:
(1) Gravano's called "Tony Twist" again, twice over three issues.
- I don't know who's slacking more, McFarlane's editorial team or the real Tony Twist's legal team.
(2) Another bad guy named after a '90s NHL player: Chris Pronger.
- He's a killer and a whale (fat), so his nickname's "Orca"... presumably because the real Chris Pronger played for the Hartford Whalers.

Notes:
(1) I'd planned to take a hiatus after Volume 7, but that ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm back for at least one more.
- I don't know why each book can only contain six issues, regardless of two-parters and cliffhangers being split. They broke the rules once for Volume 2, they can do it again.
- Though #50 is double-size, so I guess it's technically seven issues worth.

Spawn saw how horrible Wanda felt about Terrys cancer. Because of how upset Wanda was Spawn decided to heal Terry. Spawn told himself he did it for Wanda because he promised he would do anything to make her happy.

Spawns suit almost killed him till the mysterious old man saved him and revealed to Spawn that he is also a Hellspawn. Terry got into a serious car crash after blacking out. The doctor told Wanda and Terry that Terry has a cancerious brain tumor.

Spawns costume began to take over so he built a prison out of grabage. The Violator found out about this and started laughing about it.

Terry finally put together documents that linked Wynn to illegal activities. meanwhile Spawn is starting to lose control of his suit and his evil urges.
